BH224 Premium Dual-Use Grease Filter (Home / Commercial)

BH224 is a commercial baffle grease filter manufactured by Foshan Simple Technology Co., Ltd. in Foshan, Guangdong, China. How it works. In a baffle structure the grease capture happens inside the panel profile. As air is drawn through the filter, it is forced through a change of direction: grease vapour condenses on the metal surfaces, coalesces into droplets and drains to the lower edge, where it runs into the hood gutter instead of the duct. A well-made baffle keeps this drainage path continuous — baffles or mesh are set at a consistent angle, joints are welded or riveted tight, and the frame is stiff enough that the panel does not bow under suction, which would open gaps and let grease bypass the filter.

Specification and fit. BH224 is offered in our standard size grid (Custom) and can be cut to non-standard hood channels. Handles are single handle, positioned so a cook can lift the panel out with one hand while wearing a glove. Material options are 201, 304 and 430 stainless steel: 430 for cost-sensitive dry-heat lines, 304 where wash-down chemicals and salt-laden vapour are constant. Production QC reports are issued with each batch; UL-listed Type U equivalents are available where the project requires them.

Where buyers specify it. Restaurants and hotel kitchens use BH224 over heavy frying and charbroiling; central and cloud kitchens standardize on one filter size across multiple hoods to simplify spares; QSR chains order chain-spec panels with consistent dimensions for hundreds of outlets; hood OEMs buy the panel as a component matched to their channel design. If you are replacing an existing filter, send the hood brand and model or a photo with a tape measure — we match length, width, thickness and handle position and quote the equivalent.

Maintenance and lifecycle. Grease filters are a consumable safety component: a clogged panel raises duct fire risk and static pressure. BH224 should be removed and run through a dishwasher or degreasing tank on the schedule your fire code requires — typically weekly for heavy frying, monthly for lighter cooking. Because the panel is all-stainless with no coatings, it tolerates caustic detergents and steam; inspect handles and frame corners during cleaning and replace panels whose frames are dented enough to gap against the hood channel. We keep production drawings for every order, so a re-order years later matches the original fit.
