A grease filter is a fire-safety component. Our QC covers material verification, dimensional accuracy, weld strength, finish and packaging — with UL certification on the Type U series.
What we check before a filter ships
Every production lot passes these checkpoints; inspection reports are available on request.
Material Verification
Steel grade (201/304/430) confirmed by material certificate; PMI spot check on incoming coils.
Dimensional Accuracy
Length, width and frame depth checked against drawing — filters must seat in the hood channel without air bypass.
Weld & Frame Strength
Baffle-to-frame welds and handle joints tested for strength; handles must survive repeated removal under load.
Finish & Edges
Brushed or electro-polished finish inspected; all edges deburred for safe handling during cleaning.
Airflow Fit Check
Sample units fitted to hood frames to verify orientation, drainage direction and no rattling.
Packing Integrity
Edge-protected export cartons; corner and handle protection verified before container loading.

Market-specific documentation packages are prepared per order.
- UL certification — Type U series, for the North American market
- UL 1046 — reference standard for grease filters used with exhaust ducts
- NFPA 96 / IMC — filters intended for use with these ventilation safety codes
- Material certificates — mill test reports for 201 / 304 / 430 stainless steel
- Production QC reports — dimensional and finish inspection records per lot
- Export documents — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, CO on request
